The headlines won't stop.
Wars. Economic uncertainty. Political division. Tariffs. Protests. Another breaking news alert before you've even had your morning coffee.
And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you're trying to live a life that looks different — a life that reflects something the world can't manufacture: peace.
Romans 12:2 says it plainly:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
The pattern of this world right now? Anxiety. Outrage. Doom-scrolling. Taking sides. Finding identity in a political party, an economic bracket, or a news network.
But you were made for something different.
So what does it actually look like to live differently this week?
It’s not about unplugging from reality or pretending the world isn’t hard. It’s about where you anchor when the storm gets loud.
It looks like turning off the news for an hour and opening your Bible instead.
It looks like praying for leaders you didn’t vote for.
It looks like refusing to let fear drive your decisions — financial, relational, or otherwise.
It looks like being the most grounded, most hopeful person in the room — not because you’re naive, but because you know Who holds it all.
Philippians 4:7 promises “a peace that surpasses all understanding” — and that peace isn’t contingent on the stock market, the political climate, or what’s trending on X.
You are in this world. You feel the weight of it. That’s not weakness — that’s humanity.
But you are not of it. Your citizenship is elsewhere. Your hope is anchored in something unshakeable.
This week, let your life be the headline that points people to Jesus.
What’s one way you’re choosing peace over panic this week? Drop it in the comments — we’d love to pray with you.
