There was a season in my life when I felt completely alone in my faith.
My circle had shifted. The people I thought would stand with me had walked away. I was still showing up to church, still reading my Bible, still praying — but it felt like I was the only one left who actually believed what I said I believed.
I remember crying out to God one night and asking, “Is anyone else still standing?”
And that’s when He brought me to Romans 11:5.
“So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.”
A remnant. Not a majority. Not a crowd. A remnant — a small, set-apart group of people chosen not because of what they did, but because of His grace.
That word wrecked me in the best way.
I wasn’t alone. I was chosen. And the very thing that felt like isolation was actually God setting me apart for something greater.
If you’re in a season where it feels like you’re the only one still standing — you’re not. You’re the remnant. And you were chosen for this moment.
“Fear not, for I am with you.” — Isaiah 43:5
