Today marks one year.
One year since Charlie Kirk was taken from this world, from his family, and from the millions of lives he touched. And I felt led to write something today — not because I have the right words, but because staying silent didn't feel right either.
My prayers are with his wife and children today and always. Grief like that doesn't follow a timeline. I pray God's peace covers them in a way that only He can provide. 🙏
Charlie Kirk impacted my life in a way I didn't fully expect. It wasn't just the boldness of his voice or the size of his platform. It was his faith. His unapologetic, unwavering faith in Jesus Christ — woven into everything he said and everything he built.
He showed me that you don't have to separate your faith from your work. That a Christian worldview isn't something you check at the door when you step into business, or politics, or community. It's the foundation. It's the whole thing.
That's the seed he planted in me.
Seed and Soulful exists, in part, because of voices like Charlie's — voices that said: build something that matters. Build it on faith. Build it bigger than yourself. And don't apologize for who you are or who you serve.
I'm still building. And today I build in his memory.
If his life meant something to you too, I'd love to hear it in the comments. Let's honor him together.
Rest easy, Charlie. 🤍
